Defend Traditional Marriage

June 29, 2015 by Montserrat {Cranial Hiccups} 17 Comments

Defend Traditional Marriage. Defend Family. Man and woman are made to complement and complete one another. God has made it so! When we were engaged Joseph and I wrote many letters to each other. That’s what you did when you lived across the country from one another before cell phones. In one of the letters Joseph wrote he sent a copy of an article with this quote highlighted in blue brackets. Next to it he wrote, […]

My Ironing Cabinet

June 20, 2015 by Montserrat {Cranial Hiccups} 6 Comments

My husband and I have lived in some pretty old, run-down houses. The first house we lived in was three old offices buildings slapped together. They were pulled by horse and buggy in the 1920s from the ghost town Wonder and used to create a “large” 800 sq. foot home for a family with seven […]

Home and School

June 19, 2015 by Montserrat {Cranial Hiccups} 5 Comments

Homeschooling has been a great thing for our family! My kids are second generation homeschoolers. Both my husband and I were homeschooled during high school. Now we aren’t against public education in anyway. We are what we like to call PRO education, choosing the best of all available options for our kids. In our case […]

Summer Reading Charts

June 2, 2015 by Montserrat {Cranial Hiccups} 11 Comments

FUN SUMMER READING CHARTS! Three different charts to keep kids engaged in reading new books this summer. One chart is HOW or WHERE to read a book for at least 15 minutes a day. Another tells what CHARACTER or OBJECT should be in a book. The last is for WHERE or WHAT TIME the book takes place. From CranialHiccups.com

Most kids I know LOVE charts. There’s just something about crossing off what you’ve done that makes you feel good. Summer reading charts are no exception.
