Double View

November 18, 2007 by Montserrat {Cranial Hiccups} 12 Comments

I took this picture last Sunday with the intention of posting it but then I forgot about it. I saw it again as I scanned through the photos I’ve taken over the last month. The valley we live in is pretty narrow only about 5 miles wide. The views are spectacular varying greatly from the east to the west. Here you can see the beautiful blue skies to the west while the side mirror shows the gray skies to the east.

    That is a cool picture!

I love living in the mountains! I grew up in Florida, and it has been a big change. People ask me a lot if I miss Florida, and I don’t! I love Utah!

(So, maybe in January, I’ll be wishing for some sunny skies, but I love the cold, too!)

I love this photo and how it shows the two faces of the valley you live in.

    Nice capture.

    Great photo!

Should we be looking forward to were we are going, or looking back to were we have been?

Do the greys skys bring cold and dreary weather, or shaded relief.

Do the blue sky brings lazy afternoons or drought?

Or again is it just a cool picture? 😉

Awesome shot! I certainly don’t have a view like that, but I’ve learned that I can drive to some great views.

Wow, I love that shot. A great one to show the valley. Except we have to remember that “objects in the mirror are closer than they appear.” 🙂
