President Hinckley Dies

January 27, 2008 by Montserrat {Cranial Hiccups} 9 Comments

A truly great religious leader has passed away this evening. President Gordon B. Hinckley lived to the ripe old age of 97. He will be greatly missed by so many. There are over 12 million members of our church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, who will be mourning his passing. He was not only the prophet who taught us and lead us, but he was also a man of exemplary faith and wisdom with a wonderful sense of humor.

You can read more about President Hinckley’s death at Deseret News.

One comment last night that the Public Relations guy gave was that Pres. Hinckley was working in his office two days ago. What an amazing man! I can only imagine the joyous reunion that is happening right now.
