Cranial Hiccups

Every once in a while and totally unintentionally my brain spews out a good idea.

You are here: Home / Had to play catch up

Had to play catch up

May 31, 2008 by Montserrat {Cranial Hiccups} 9 Comments

What I did today because I didn’t work on the computer:

Washed seven loads of laundry, hung six loads on the line to dry
Organized my laundry room
Gave six girls piano lessons
Cleaned my bedroom, bathroom and Special Dark’s room
Planted the last of the green beans
Transplanted the watermelon
Watered the garden
Cut out all the pieces for two handbags and three aprons
Filled out four 4-H Poultry declarations that are due on Monday
Prepared the Primary lesson for the class I’m substituting for tomorrow

What didn’t get done but needed to be:
Bake eight loaves of bread
Iron church clothes
Call my grandmother

Holy cow! I believe I’m speechless too. What a slacker I am!

Wouldn’t it be great if for just one day we actually got EVERYTHING crossed off our to-do list?

Man, you got lots closer than I did yesterday!!

Dang! I knew I forgot something! My poultry declarations. 🙂

Good grief…I hope you had a blessed Sabbath! You deserve it.

I love hanging my clothes out! It’s my favorite part of laundry. I just don’t like folding them and putting it all away after the fun part.

Wooowee woman! You are incredible! I often think about how much I could get done if I stayed away from the computer. Someday I will do more than think about it. 🙂

Isn’t it amazing what can be done when we step away from these little toys?? 🙂
