Cranial Hiccups

Every once in a while and totally unintentionally my brain spews out a good idea.

You are here: Home / 10 in 10 Meme

10 in 10 Meme

July 18, 2008 by Montserrat {Cranial Hiccups} 2 Comments

This last meme “10 in 10 minutes” comes from Zippy. The idea is you take ten pictures of the specified “items” below, write-up a post about them, and let all your friends and family get to know you a bit better. The trick is, you can’t do any “clean-up” before you take the pictures…you just point and shoot. That can be very scary, especially at our house. So here are my uncleaned up, unrevised photos from last Saturday (July 12) when I wrote this post.

1.Dream Vacation
Mr. Ferrero Rocher and I were able to take a week long vacation by ourselves this spring in March. We visited some Mormon church history sites in Ohio and New York. It was so nice to just be together, relax, and recuperate. The week before our trip I had had a miscarriage so it was a nice getaway, a good healing process for me.

2. Self-Portrait
So I know it looks like I’m not very happy here but the sun was very bright and I was trying not to smile. Oh well.

3. What are my kids doing right now?
This is so much fun! I think we’ll have to not do it for several weeks though to let the lawn recover.

4. My Closet

Mr. FR built all the shelves to my specifications. Isn;t he great? Especially considering I have 2/3 of the closet. 🙂

5. My Favorite Room

These couches are so comfy. We all gather here to read scriptures, watch movies, have family home evening, or when we read aloud. One of the girls is usually on the piano practicing too. See the blank wall above the piano? It was literally filled with family and ancestor photos. I am currently working on a project of photos of my kids to hang on there instead.

6. My Favorite Shoes

This pair of Born shoes are my every day favorites.

7. My Laundry/Mud Room

Nothing to spectacular here.

8. Guest Bathroom

This is actually the master bath that Mr. FR redid early this year. It’s usually the cleanest so its the one guests use. We used to have a bright blue whirlpool bathtub that neither of us liked. It also had carpet. GROSS! Mr. FR built the shower, installed a new sink, cabinet, toilet, and tiled the floor. Nice, huh?

9. Kitchen Sink
Still with lunch dishes in it.

10. Fridge

We have two refrigerators. One because of our large family and two to hold all the fruits, veggies, and milk because we live so far from town.

So now I’m tagging
Dusty Kay
Ritsumei @ Baby Steps
Meg @ Once Upon a Time (then she can tag her sisters!)
Twinlinebackers @ Discalceate Journey

Remember no cleaning up first!!!!!

And there’s the last of the memes I was tagged with…….I think.

Back to the regular blog posts next week!

Can I just say how much I love the photo of your kitchen sink?? Clean kitchen sinks only exist when you’ve prepped for a picture 🙂

I can’t wait for Meg to do this one so that I can see new pictures of her house! It will probably be several weeks but I will be waiting…
