Cranial Hiccups

Every once in a while and totally unintentionally my brain spews out a good idea.

Flag Chimes

July 2, 2008 by Montserrat {Cranial Hiccups} 12 Comments

This is my Love Thursday entry for several reasons. The kiddos painted these on Monday when the beloved bookmobile came to our house. We LOVE when Ms. Ginny makes the trek out here. In the summer she has a new activity each time she comes as well as goodie bags for those participating in the Bookmobile Summer Reading Program. With six of these all painted up and hanging out on the deck they make the sweetest tingling sound when the wind blows. I LOVE to listen to it in the quiet of the morning before the hustle and bustle of the day begins. The last reason of course has to do with our LOVE of country. This is our simple way of celebrating the freedoms we are so dearly blessed with.

I love this picture! You captured the children’s craft, AND you made art in the process. Well done.

I wish we had a bookmobile. That’s one benefit of living out in the sticks instead of only sort of like us. We hardly ever visit the library because the library is all the way across town.

I loved the Book Mobile when I was little. We don’t have that here, where I live now.

Your kids did such a great job painting…

    Happy 4th

    HI
I love your site and I realized you are hay farmers just as we are – I rake and cut hay for my husband and he bales. Your children are absolutely beautiful!!
I can’t wait to try the BOMB too.
