Every once in a while and totally unintentionally my brain spews out a good idea.

Art & Crafts Sites

September 9, 2008 by Montserrat {Cranial Hiccups} 6 Comments

School always seems more fun when there are art projects or crafts to go along with what we are studying. Here’s a list of sites that I like to peruse to find the “perfect” project.

Crafty Crow – a collection of craft ideas from around the internet – mostly other blogs. You can search by age and subject.
Family Fun – I love their magazine! They have ideas for birthday cakes, arts & crafts, celebrating holidays, cooking, etc. You can even search by craft supplies!
Canon Paper Craft – We can seriously use up a whole set of ink cartridges and a ream of paper printing out all the wonderful models of animals, architecture, toys, origami, etc.

Anybody else have some good arts & craft sites to recommend?

Folding Trees (http://foldingtrees.com/) has lots of fun paper crafts.

Another favorite, specifically for kids, is Kids Craft Weekly (http://kidscraftweekly.com/).

I don’t know if this falls under crafts but http://www.hasbro.com/games/cranium/club_cranium.cfm

has a lot of fun games and ideas. If you go to just the regular cranium site you can also get lots of printouts for quick games.
