General Conference Ideas

General Conference is a little over a week away! Here are some links to good packets, activity cards, and ideas to prepare your children for this special weekend of listening to the Prophet and Apostles speak to us.

General Conference Packets:
Official Packet from the Church – first posted by Liz at theideadoor.com. The Church Curriculum Department has made their own packet for October’s Conference! 10 pages.

Oct 2009 General Conference Activity packet – from LDSResources.net 20 pages long!

Activity Packet for Youth (12-18) – More of a note taking notebook, contains a brief biography of each member of the First Presidency and the Twelve as well as scripture mastery puzzles from the New Testament. 17 pages.

Activity Cards:

October 2009 General Conference Activity Cards – from SugarDoodle. Geared for ages 7-12 print each card, punch a hole in the corner, and place on a ring.

2009 Apostle Cards – from SugarDoodle. Print them out, punch a hole in the corner of each card, and put them on a ring. Full of fun facts the whole family should learn!

Conference Bingo Cards – from LDS.About.com – print up to twelve different cards so nobody gets the same one.
