Wordfull Wednesday: Love Songs

I think we must lead a rather boring life, especially compared to some. We aren’t sports fans. We don’t go to rodeos or concerts. We don’t like to dance (well, Mr. FR doesn’t). I guess we aren’t high on the social life. That and having to drive 45 minutes just to get somewhere puts a damper on things.

All this to say we don’t even have a song we consider to be “our song.” We are so unromantic. 😛 If we had to choose, Jessica’s Theme (Breaking in the Colt) from The Man From Snowy River would be the closest thing to what we consider “our song.” The Man From Snowy River is our favorite movie. I suppose you could draw some parallels about the rugged country horseman falling in love with the dark haired ‘rich’ girl. Anyway, when Mr. Ferrero Rocher and I were engaged, he lived in Nevada and I lived in Georgia. I played this song on the piano whenever I started missing him. Needless to say I drove my family plumb crazy as I played it ALL. THE. TIME.

Even now it’s one of my favorite songs to play on the piano. Just brings back those falling in love memories I guess.

A couple of other songs we both really like but don’t consider ‘our song’ are:

and

When You Say You Love Me by Josh Groban (couldn’t find a video of him singing)

Love to hear Josh Groban sing! 😀
