Cranial Hiccups

Every once in a while and totally unintentionally my brain spews out a good idea.

Baby #9 Update

March 21, 2011 by Montserrat {Cranial Hiccups} 30 Comments

Friday was a BIG day! I had an ultrasound and found out that baby #9 is a . . .

BOY!!!!

I decided against posting the incriminating evidence but trust me it IS very evident. 😀

We are all ecstatic. Actually I’m pretty sure we would have been ecstatic either way, I mean how many families do you really know with eight girls and one boy? Not many.

Now on to the hard part of deciding on names. . .

Darla, do you realize we are still going to be exact opposites?! What are the odds?

Your ultrasound made my day! And the odds that we are EXACT opposite are apparently a whole lot better than picking Pitt or Purdue to go to the Final Four!

So . . . when can we get together?????? 🙂

Congratulations. Is your son just thrilled to have a brother? My mom had a family of 7 girls and one boy, but that is where they stopped.

Congratulations! Seems that boys are in the air….my sister is due in April, you are having a boy, and I am, too, in May.

What a beautiful picture–he is absolutely perfect, isn’t he?

Awesome news! And you’re right, it’s awesome either way. Glad that baby #4 is healthy. I vote for David since he was a great king and leader. I know you really were waiting for my opinion! Glad y’all are well. Enjoy the euphoria.

Congratulations! A while ago my son was on my lap while I was reading your blog and asked where your son’s brother was. I told him he didn’t have one but that you were pregnant. He knew right then you were having a boy! 🙂 So happy for you and your family!

A boy!!! SD must be so excited that he’ll have a brother to do “man things” with him and Mr. FR. We only seem to do boys around here so I’m always excited to hear someone else is welcoming a boy.
    Congratulations!

hahaha, yes, my #5 son – even the untrained eye could tell. but we organized with 6 boys in a row then the 3 girls. used up our energy when we were younger. now we are ready to sit down and have the girls make us cookies

I’m a little late getting to this post, but–Congratulations!!! I’m happy to know you’ll have more than one boy. We like multiple boys here. 🙂

If you’d gotten to where you had 9 girls and 1 boy though, you’d be just like Elder Nelson!
