Cranial Hiccups

Every once in a while and totally unintentionally my brain spews out a good idea.

Simple Pleasures: Hummingbirds

April 14, 2011 by Montserrat {Cranial Hiccups} 14 Comments

As proof that artists find their canvases anywhere. Brownie took this long piece of cardboard destined for the trash . . .

and on Sunday sketched and painted . . .

 this spring scene . . .

 of hummingbirds . . .

 and blossoms.

It now hangs above my desk, brightening up this corner of our living room.

What brings you simple pleasure?

Seriously? I am not as totally duh as my entries say I am…Mr Linky said that I had to keep re-trying because my file was too large…I tried to remove the last two, but can’t.

I am SO SORRY! Today my computer brain is really deficient. Please remove them if you can. I can’t (or don’t know how…)

Wow – that’s quite the picture! I have a daughter that loves to go through my recycling bin (she set up a grocery store for the 2 little ones the other day.) but her M.O. is tape and glue 🙂 and lots of cutting up paper!

That’s awesome! I am betting that Brownie is also very good at creating sewn items….without use of patterns/ directions. She can most probably visualize the finished product.
