Cranial Hiccups

Every once in a while and totally unintentionally my brain spews out a good idea.

Simple Pleasures: My heritage

May 4, 2011 by Montserrat {Cranial Hiccups} 8 Comments

After two weeks of being apart it is wonderful to have everyone back under one roof again! Bon Bon and Semisweet enjoyed a fun filled, walking packed trip to Barcelona courtesy of my parents.

They saw many sights:

 cathedrals,
 the Mediterranean Sea
Roman ruins,

a medieval castle,
the Montserrat Monastery,
inside the monastery
love the stained glass windows in the monastery

The Black Madonna, Virgin of Montserrat

stopped at fun little shops
fed the pigeons in Plaza Catalunya
and even took a cooking class!

It was a great cultural experience to see where some of their heritage comes from and spend it with Grandparents and my aunt.

But we sure are glad they are back!!

What brings you simple pleasure?
