Cool. I actually quite like the Veggie Tales… one of the few children’s shows I can tolerate. 🙂

Jon Schmidt is my ward’s high counselor. He joined my choir last Sunday. 🙂 Super nice man. We’re hoping to get him to do a musical number soon…

Congrats on Gideon! He couldn’t have chosen a better family to join!

I enjoy the discussions that veggie tales generates with my son’s, but I admit that the fact that I have to make sure that the story they get is correct, this is a bit too much for me. I really love the music and the values they stand for. So, we find alot of our veggie tales on youtube. 🙂

Thanks for the videos, I am going to come back to check them out when youtube is not so slow.

Random question, did you teach your girls piano? Or do you have a teacher? My son is taking piano and my other would love to take guitar, but I would like to just purchase a course or something, cheaper that way!

LOVING all the cello. I played in high school and miss it dearly! Just curious about what your objections are to Veggie Tales as well. We find them entertaining as a whole but I object to calling David “Dave” and the worst was Rack, Shack and Benny. I also don’t like how they throw “cutsie” stuff in but the kids can’t differentiate it from the real story. So we make sure they know the story before they watch a video, to avoid confusion. Nothing is worse than the Gospel according to Veggie Tales!

Congratulations on your new strapping baby boy! What a joy! My newest nephew was born on the 14th, so we’re celebrating, too.

I’m so excited for a new Tribute album! The other two are some of our most played, including by my 16 year old son, which I love.

My Great-great-great grandmother, Nancy Naomi Tracy, is quoted in Trek, and her son Lachoneus Moroni Tracy was lost on the journey and is mentioned on the CD.
