Cranial Hiccups

Every once in a while and totally unintentionally my brain spews out a good idea.

You know you homeschool if…

IMG_1030 rolling down hill in a square box

. . .your children try rolling downhill in a square box.

Just a little humor poking fun at ourselves. They were actually crawling downhill while the others helped to roll the box, like a hamster in a wheel. I have no idea what they were thinking.

I grew up with 10 sibs. That was a normal day’s play for us! And we weren’t homeschooled! I think it’s because we weren’t so wired up technology-wise as most kids are these days. Sad.

Dent in the corners a little…and you could have taken a photo of me as a kid. My brothers and I were pretty darn inventive. I think that Homeschooling just gives that creativity back to this generation. 🙂

Ha! At least you have a Christ-centered home, even if your children don’t understand simple physics. 🙂

Love this! We always poked fun at us as homeschoolers when I was a kid and still do now. If I spell something wrong or say something silly, I will look at my mom and say….”It’s becuase I was homeschoooled” 🙂

That’s exactly why I did this post! We do the same thing. It’s our family joke. If we made a mistake of some sort – whether it relates to academics or not – we say “It’s because we homeschool.” We also tell good friends who “get it” when they make a mistake “It’s because you were/are public schooled.” It keeps things light and humorous!
