Cranial Hiccups

Every once in a while and totally unintentionally my brain spews out a good idea.

You are here: Home / Family Life / Christmastime this year

Christmastime this year

December 16, 2015 by Montserrat {Cranial Hiccups} 2 Comments

Christmas, Christmastime is here! We’ve been enjoying the usual traditions.

We went and got a real tree today! The girls decided they wanted to decorate this one with natural ornaments. Dried orange slices, cinnamon stick bundles, and popcorn and cranberry strings make it feel old-fashioned and homey. #Christmas

One of my favorite parts of the evening. Ira lights the candles then turns off the lights. There is something so calming and peaceful about watching candlelight flicker. #ASaviorIsBorn to bring light and peace to the world.

And while I would like to say I am ready for Christmas Day, I am not. I thought I was done well before Thanksgiving but an email I received over a week ago informed me a package with 15 items I had ordered had accidentally been shipped to the UK. What?! How does that happen? {{sigh}} So, I reordered some things and found new items to get. Here’s crossing my fingers they all arrive in time. We’ve been keeping ourselves entertained by dressing up poor Henry.

And laughing our heads off at Gideon vs. Henry at 4 1/2 months. No wonder we called Gideon “Bubba!”
