October 2016 General Conference Jeopardy!

October 3, 2016 by Montserrat {Cranial Hiccups} 15 Comments

How well did you listen to General Conference? Enough to beat the other teams at General Conference Jeopardy? Want a great way to review General Conference? Play the October 2016 General Conference Jeopardy game! Perfect for family home evening, seminary, and Young Men and Young Women activities.

October 2016 General Conference Jeopardy It is presented as a powerpoint presentation. Use the arrows on your keyboard to navigate through the powerpoint to the game board. A student picks a category and a dollar amount. You click on that dollar amount and it will take you to the question. Another click will take you to the answer. THEN click on the yellow star at the bottom of the answer slide and it will take you back to the game board. There are two Double Jeopardys hidden in the game. Who will get to increase (or decrease) their score?

This game does not keep track of scores. You will have to have a score keeper do that for you. NEEDED: Each team will need a set of scriptures for some of the questions!

The October 2016 General Conference Jeopardy is a great review to see how much you learned from the words of our Prophet, apostles, and other church leaders!

Have Fun!

JUST A NOTE: If you can’t get it to work you need to update your version of powerpoint! Thanks!

This is fantastic. I plan to use in seminary tomorrow. Unfortunately for me clicking the dollar amount doesn’t take me to the question.

Hmm…I haven’t heard of anyone else having troubles. I know they have played it. Is your powerpoint up to date?

Thank you so much for putting this together. Unfortunately I can’t click on the dollar amount either… Any ideas how I could get it to work?

Yikes! I’m not sure how to help you. I’ve downloaded it to all our computers/laptops and it works on every one.

We had to update our power point as 2010 didn’t work. With the updated version we were good to go.

Hello. Last year we combined our youth Sunday school classes and played your jeopardy game. The kids LOVED it and did amazing! Are you going to do it again for April 2017 conference if we plan on combining again after conference? Thank you so much for your time and for your kindness in sharing!!! Lori

Yes! I plan on making one every year if I am able too. It might take a few days after General Conference to get it done but it will get done. 😀
