An Easter Countdown: The Miracles of Jesus

April 13, 2011 by Montserrat {Cranial Hiccups} 3 Comments

This activity goes along with day four of The Living Christ: An Easter Countdown.

Our children divided up into three teams – an older child paired with a younger one – and each team wrote down all the miracles performed by Jesus that they could remember.

We then watched this video and I had them keep track of how many miracles were either shown in the video or sung about in the song, adding to their lists.

Afterwards with each miracle they mentioned, we looked them up in the scriptures and read the accounts as recorded there.

We also listen and sing along to this beautiful song by Shawna Edwards.

Thanks for posting these. You save the rest of us busy moms a ton of work, so we get to to do amazing things for our families, too. I’m logging these ideas away and am planning on using them for Easter and Christmas. Love it!

I have always loved that song, and performed it myself once or twice. I love being reminded of His miracles. It makes me remember to be more grateful.
