Activities to Focus on CHRISTmas

November 26, 2012 by Montserrat {Cranial Hiccups} 7 Comments

The Christmas season is upon us! It can be a beautiful and inspiring time of year if you allow some room for Christ in all the celebrations. He is the reason we are celebrating to begin with, right? Here are a few activities and lesson plans I have shared over the years to bring our focus and attention to Jesus Christ.

Names of Christ Unit Study / Names of Christ Booklets

Names of Christ Ornaments / Symbols of Christmas
Sing Along Christmas Story / Christmas in the Book of Mormon
Names of Christ Family Home Evening Lesson

Later this week I will share a Christmas Scripture Countdown complete with illustrations done by my daughter. I can’t wait for you to see it!

I can’t tell you how much I like this post. I plan to check out each and every one thoroughly. I think these ideas will fit quite nicely in my minimalism of Christmas.

I LOVE your blog! I’ve been a silent follower for a few years now & a few months ago discovered my neighbor also loves your blog. She learned about FHE from you and asked me about it since she knows we are LDS, too. We ended up having a great FHE with their family! Thanks for planting that seed! My sister and I started a blog, pearpreserves.blogspot.com, that we are excited about- come leave us a comment, you know, in your spare time 😉
